Armenian church St. Kevork |
Was built in present appearance in 1828 in the place of an older Orthodox church, dedicated to Saint George the Victor, dated back to the 5th c. and destroyed and rebuilt many times.
Catholic Cathedral St. Ludwig |
The cathedral was constructed - 1850s, during the time of vicar Andrea Canova. The first organ in Bulgaria was installed in the cathedral -1861, later substituted with a newer and larger one.
Dzhumaya mosque (djumaya mosque) |
It is the main Muslim temple of the city. Its location is 2 Zhelezarska Str., next to Dgumayata Square. It was built under the ruling of sultan Murad II /1421-1451/.

The Imaret Mosque of Plovdiv. Built in 1445 and one of the earliest monuments of Muslim architecture the mosque is made of stone coated in brick.
Plovdiv synagogue Zion |
Nowadays remaining one synagogue in a city of Plovdiv - constructed in 1887 and was renovated in 1923. It is located close to the central area of Plovdiv at a place known as the 'Jewish quarter'.
