The yellow school in Plovdiv
This school is small to modern standards, but back in 1868, it had huge historical importance. It was the first officially recognized Bulgarian middle school in Plovdiv. At that time all ethnic groups and even the French and Americans had schools in town, so it was vital for Bulgarians to teach the young in the Bulgarian tradition.
